One of the most famous clan in Sengoku era in japanesse history was Takeda clan from Kai. The most famous Head clan was Takeda Singen. He was an excelent warlord and also was a good person as administrator. Many times they fought with other famous clan from the north, Uesugi Kenshin. And till now, nobody really understand, what that war was really for. They fought up to 5 times (the war called Kawanakajima war), and this was quite famous among the samurai lover beside tragedy of sekigahara, Okehazama, Dan no Ura or Gempei war.
On the picture above You can see, singen is the person on the top (middle top), and the rest were the famous 24 Singen generals, including Sanada Masayuki (Father of most Respectable samurai, Sanada Yukimura).
